Sunan Abi Dawud 2247
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ حَضَرْتُ لِعَانَهُمَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَتْ حَامِلاً فَكَانَ الْوَلَدُ يُدْعَى إِلَى أُمِّهِ .
Translation
Sahl ibn Sad al-Saidi said: I witnessed the spouses perform mutual oaths of condemnation before the Prophet ﷺ when I was fifteen. He related the rest of the account, adding that the woman left pregnant and the child was attributed to its mother.
