Translation

Regarding the account of the two who engaged in mutual imprecation (li'an), Sahl ibn Sa'd reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Observe her. If she brings him forth with deeply dark eyes and large buttocks, I consider nothing other than that he has spoken the truth. And if she brings him forth reddish, as if he were a waharah (a type of reddish lizard), I consider nothing other than that he has lied." He said: So she brought him forth according to the disliked description.
