Sunan Abi Dawud 2368
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ الْجَرْمِيُّ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ شَدَّادَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَمْشِي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
Translation
This report from Shaddad ibn Aws, through another chain, has the same meaning as the preceding report. It adds that Shaddad was walking with the Prophet when the incident took place, and then relates the rest in the same sense.
