Abu Burdah reported from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to travel to the land of the Negus. In the report, the Negus said, ‘I bear witness that he is the Messenger of Allah, and that he is the one of whom Jesus, son of Mary, gave glad tidings. Were I not occupied with kingship here, I would go to him and carry his sandals.’
