Sunan Abi Dawud 4634
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْعَثُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ " مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ رُؤْيَا " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ مِيزَانًا نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَوُزِنْتَ أَنْتَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَرُجِحْتَ أَنْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَوُزِنَ عُمَرُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَرُجِحَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَوُزِنَ عُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ فَرُجِحَ عُمَرُ ثُمَّ رُفِعَ الْمِيزَانُ فَرَأَيْنَا الْكَرَاهِيَةَ فِي وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Ansari narrated to us; al-Ash‘ath narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakrah, that the Prophet said one day: ‘Which of you has seen a dream?’ A man said, ‘I saw what seemed to be a balance descending from heaven. You and Abu Bakr were weighed, and you outweighed Abu Bakr. Then Umar and Abu Bakr were weighed, and Abu Bakr outweighed Umar. Then Umar and Uthman were weighed, and Umar outweighed Uthman. Then the balance was lifted, and we saw displeasure on the Messenger of Allah’s face.’
