Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib

When he stood up for the obligatory prayer, he would pronounce the takbir and raise his hands parallel to his shoulders, and he would do likewise when he finished his recitation and intended to bow, and he would do it when he raised his head from bowing. He would not raise his hands in any part of his prayer while sitting, but when he stood up from the two prostrations, he would raise his hands likewise and pronounce the takbir.

Abu Dawud said: In the hadith of Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi, when he described the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): When he stood up from the two rak'ahs, he pronounced the takbir and raised his hands until he made them parallel to his shoulders, just as he pronounced the takbir at the opening of the prayer.
