حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمرُئِيَ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَعَلَى أَرْنَبَتِهِ أَثَرُ طِينٍ مِنْ صَلاَةٍ صَلاَّهَا بِالنَّاسِ ‏.‏

Abu sa’ld al-Khudri said

The mark of mud was visible on the forehead and the tip of the nose of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from a prayer he had performed with the people.
