حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ قَوْلُهُ ‏"‏ التَّصْفِيحُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ تَضْرِبُ بِأُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ يَمِينِهَا عَلَى كَفِّهَا الْيُسْرَى

‘Isa b. Ayyub said

Regarding the statement "Clapping is for women": you strike with two fingers of your right hand upon your left palm.
