Translation
Abu Burdah b. Abl Musa al-Asha’ri said
Abdullah ibn Umar said to me: Did you hear your father narrating from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) regarding Friday, meaning the hour? He said: I replied, Yes, I heard him saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: It is between the time when the imam sits down until the prayer is finished. Abu Dawud said: Meaning upon the pulpit.
