Raising The Hands While On The Minbar Sunan Abi Dawud 1104
Translation
'Umarah b. Ruwaibah said that he saw Bishr b. Marwan (on the pulpit) praying on Friday (by raising his hands). 'Umarah said
Amarah ibn Ruwaibah saw Bishr ibn Marwan raising his hands while making supplication on a Friday, and said, "May Allah make these two hands ugly!" Amarah added, "I have seen the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) upon the pulpit, and he did not exceed this—meaning the forefinger adjacent to the thumb."
