Translation
'Ata said
When he was in Mecca, he would pray the Friday prayer, then step forward and pray two rak'ahs, then step forward and pray four rak'ahs. When he was in Medina, he would pray the Friday prayer, then return to his house and pray two rak'ahs, and he would not pray in the mosque. It was said to him, and he replied: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to do that.'
