The 'Eid Prayers Sunan Abi Dawud 1134
Translation
Narrated Anas ibn Malik
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Medina, they had two days on which they played. He asked, "What are these two days?" They said, "We used to play on them during the Jahiliyyah (Pre-Islamic period)." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Verily, Allah has replaced them for you with something better than them: the day of Al-Adha and the day of Al-Fitr."
