Translation
'Ubaid Allah b. 'Abd Allah b. 'Utbah b. Mas'ud said

'Umar ibn al-Khattab asked Abu Waqid al-Laithi what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in [the prayers of] al-Adha and al-Fitr. He replied: He used to recite in both of them:

Qaf. By the Glorious Quran
and
The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split
.
