حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمنَجِيٌّ فِي جَانِبِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ ‏.‏

Anas reported

The prayer was established while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was whispering to a man in the side of the mosque, so he did not stand up for prayer until the people fell asleep.
