Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ الْكَحَّالُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّائِينَ فِي الظُّلَمِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ التَّامِّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Translation
Yahya ibn Maʿin narrated to us: Abu ʿUbaydah al-Haddad narrated to us: Ismaʿil Abu Sulayman al-Kahhal narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Aws, from Buraydah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: ‘Give good tidings to those who walk to the mosques in the darkness: they will have a complete light on the Day of Resurrection.’
