Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ، كَانَ يُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمَهُ فَيُصَلِّي بِهِمْ تِلْكَ الصَّلاَةَ .
Translation
ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿUmar ibn Maysarah narrated to us: Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ʿAjlan, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn Miqsam, from Jabir ibn ʿAbd Allah, that Muʿadh ibn Jabal used to pray the night prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then go to his people and lead them in that same prayer.
