حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَنْبَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُالرِّجَالَ عَاقِدِي أُزُرِهِمْ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ مِنْ ضِيقِ الأُزُرِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الصَّلاَةِ كَأَمْثَالِ الصِّبْيَانِ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ لاَ تَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الرِّجَالُ ‏.‏

Sahl b. Sa’d said

I saw the men tying their lower garments around their necks like children, due to the narrowness of the lower garments, behind the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in prayer. A speaker said, 'O company of women, do not raise your heads until the men raise their heads.'
