If A Person Takes Off His Sandals For Prayer, Where Should He Place Them ?
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ "إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ فَلاَ يُؤْذِ بِهِمَا أَحَدًا لِيَجْعَلْهُمَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ أَوْ لِيُصَلِّ فِيهِمَا "
Translation
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying
when any of you prays and takes off his sandals, he should not harm anyone by them. He should place them between his feet or pray with them on
