Sunan Abi Dawud 4357
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ فَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ حَتَّى ضُرِبَ عُنُقُهُ وَمَا اسْتَتَابَهُ .
Translation
Ibn Muadh narrated to us: my father narrated to us: al-Masudi narrated to us, from al-Qasim, with this story. He said: “Muadh did not dismount until the man was beheaded, and he was not asked to repent.”
