Sunan Abi Dawud 4365
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ فِيهِ فَأَمَرَ بِمَسَامِيرَ فَأُحْمِيَتْ فَكَحَلَهُمْ وَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَمَا حَسَمَهُمْ .
Translation
Musa ibn Ismail narrated to us: Wuhayb narrated to us, from Ayyub, with this chain and report. He said in it: “He ordered that nails be heated, then branded their eyes with them. He cut off their hands and feet, but did not cauterize them to stop the bleeding.”
