حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلميُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا ‏.‏

Sulaiman bin Dawud al-Mahri narrated to us: Ibn Wahb narrated to us: Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim (meaning the son of Abdullah), from his father, who said: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) starting his talbiyah with his hair matted.
