Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas
An-Nufayli narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Salamah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us - and (in another chain) Muhammad ibn al-Minhal narrated to us: Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq - the meaning being the same - he said: 'Abdullah - meaning the son of Abu Najih - narrated to me: Mujahid narrated to me, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent as a sacrificial offering in the year of Al-Hudaybiyyah, among the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), a camel that had belonged to Abu Jahl, with a silver nose-ring in its head.
Ibn Minhal said: "A nose-ring of gold." An-Nufayli added: "Thereby enraging the polytheists."
