حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، - قَالَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَسَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِبَدَنَةٍ فَأَشْعَرَهَا مِنْ صَفْحَةِ سَنَامِهَا الأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ سَلَتَ عَنْهَا الدَّمَ وَقَلَّدَهَا بِنَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَمَّا قَعَدَ عَلَيْهَا وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ ‏.‏

Ibn `Abbas said

Abu al-Walid al-Tayalisi and Hafs ibn Umar - meaning the text - said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah - Abu al-Walid said: I heard Abu Hassan from Ibn Abbas - that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed Dhuhr at Dhu al-Hulaifah. Then he called for a sacrificial camel and marked it on the right side of its hump, wiped the blood from it, and put two sandals around its neck. Then his riding camel was brought to him, and when he sat upon it and it stood up with him at al-Bayda', he raised his voice in the Talbiyah for Hajj.
