حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُمَا، جَمِيعًا وَلَمْ يَحْفَظْ حَدِيثَ هَذَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ هَذَا وَلاَ حَدِيثَ هَذَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ هَذَا - قَالاَ قَالَتْ أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمبِالْهَدْىِ فَأَنَا فَتَلْتُ قَلاَئِدَهَا بِيَدِي مِنْ عِهْنٍ كَانَ عِنْدَنَا ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ فِينَا حَلاَلاً يَأْتِي مَا يَأْتِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ‏.‏

Ai’shah said

Musaddad told us, Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal told us, Ibn 'Awn told us, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad and from Ibrahim—he claimed that he heard it from both of them together, and he did not confuse the hadith of this one with the hadith of that one, nor the hadith of that one with the hadith of this one—they said: The Mother of the Believers said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent sacrificial animals, so I twisted their garlands with my own hands from tufts of wool that we had with us, then the next morning he was permitted among us, doing what a man from his family does.
