حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَيُرْدِفُ مَوْلاَةً لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهَا صَفِيَّةُ تُسَافِرُ مَعَهُ إِلَى مَكَّةَ ‏.‏

Nafi` said

Nasr ibn Ali narrated to us, Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, that Ibn Umar used to seat a female slave of his named Safiyyah behind him, and she would travel with him to Makkah.
