حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ بَاتَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ فَلَمَّا رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ أَهَلَّ ‏.‏

Anas said

Ahmad bin Hanbal narrated to us: Muhammad bin Bakr narrated to us: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Muhammad bin al-Munkadir, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed Dhuhr in Madinah as four rak'ahs, and he prayed Asr at Dhu al-Hulayfah as two rak'ahs. Then he spent the night at Dhu al-Hulayfah until morning. When he mounted his riding animal and it stood up with him, he raised his voice in talbiyah.
