حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَلَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَمَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْىَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ ‏"‏ وَلَحَلَلْتُ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَحَلُّوا مِنَ الْعُمْرَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَمْرُ النَّاسِ وَاحِدًا

Muhammad ibn Yahya bin Faris narrated to us: Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us: Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Had I known beforehand what I came to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animals with me." Muhammad said: I think he said: "And I would have halled (exited ihram) along with those who halled from the Umrah." He said: He wanted the people's affair to be one.
