حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ السَّرِيِّ - عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ سَلِيمِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، كَانَ يَقُولُ فِيمَنْ حَجَّ ثُمَّ فَسَخَهَا بِعُمْرَةٍلَمْ يَكُنْ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ لِلرَّكْبِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

Hannan—meaning Ibn Al-Sari—reported to us from Ibn Abi Za'idah: Muhammad bin Ishaq informed us, from 'Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad, from Salim bin al-Aswad, that Abu Dharr used to say regarding someone who performs Hajj and then turns it into an 'Umrah: That was not for anyone except the riders who were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).
