حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي نُعْمٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُئِلَ عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ قَالَ ‏"‏الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفُوَيْسِقَةُ وَيَرْمِي الْغُرَابَ وَلاَ يَقْتُلُهُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالسَّبُعُ الْعَادِي ‏"

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri

The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked what a person in the state of ihram may kill, and he said: "The snake, the scorpion, and the small harmful creature; and he pelts the crow but does not kill it; and the aggressive dog, the kite, and the attacking beast of prey."
