حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، - وَكَانَ قَدْ أَصَابَهُ فِي رَأْسِهِ أَذًى فَحَلَقَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْيُهْدِيَ هَدْيًا بَقَرَةً ‏.‏

A man from the Ansar informed him on the authority of Ka'b ibn Ujrah — and an affliction had troubled him in his head, so he shaved — that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered him to offer an offering of a cow.
