حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلماعْتَمَرَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَهُ مَنْ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنَ النَّاسِفَقِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكَعْبَةَ قَالَ لاَ ‏.‏

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed 'Umrah and circumambulated the House, and prayed two rak'ahs behind the Maqam, and with him were people who screened him from the people. So 'Abdullah was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) enter the Ka'bah?" He said, "No."
