حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلاَثًا وَالْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةُ قَالَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ‏.‏

Abdullah ibn Malik said

I prayed the Maghrib prayer three rak'ahs and the 'Isha' prayer two rak'ahs with Ibn Umar. Malik ibn al-Harith said to him, "What is this prayer?" He replied, "I prayed them with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in this place with a single iqamah."
