Translation
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas

Muhammad ibn Bashshar told us: Hammad ibn Mas'adah told us: Ibn Abi Dhi'b told us, from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, from Ubayd ibn Umayr, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, that the people, in the beginning of the pilgrimage, used to trade in Mina, Arafat, the market of Dhul-Majaz, and the seasons of Hajj, but they feared trading while in the state of Ihram. Then Allah, the Exalted, revealed:

{ There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord }
during the seasons of Hajj. He said: Ubayd ibn Umayr told me that he used to recite it thus in the Mushaf.
