Sunan Abi Dawud 1738
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالاَ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَلأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ . وَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَلَمْلَمَ قَالَ " فَهُنَّ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ وَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ . - قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ - مِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ قَالَ وَكَذَلِكَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ يُهِلُّونَ مِنْهَا " .
Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us; Hammad narrated to us, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas, and from Ibn Tawus, from his father. They both said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) designated the pilgrimage boundary, with a report of the same meaning. One of them said: For the people of Yemen, Yalamlam; the other said: Alamlam. He said: These are for their people and for anyone from elsewhere who passes through them intending Hajj or Umrah. Those who live within these boundaries begin ihram from where they set out—this wording is from Ibn Tawus. He said: Likewise, even the people of Mecca begin ihram from there.
