Sunan Abi Dawud 4259

Musaddad narrated to us: Abd al-Warith ibn Said narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Juhadah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan, from Huzayl, from Abu Musa al-Ashari, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Before the Hour there will be trials like patches of a dark night. A man will be a believer in the morning and an unbeliever in the evening, or a believer in the evening and an unbeliever in the morning. The one sitting through them is better than the one standing, and the one walking is better than the one hurrying. Break your bows, cut your bowstrings, and strike your swords against stones. If someone enters upon one of you, let him be like the better of the two sons of Adam.”
