Muhammad ibn Sabiq narrated to us. He said: Israil narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Abu Wa'il, from Abd Allah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Accept the invitation, do not refuse a gift, and do not strike Muslims.'

  • أَجِيبُوا الدَّاعِيَ،

The phrase can mean respond to the one inviting, conventionally accept an invitation.

Should the translation keep the idiomatic invitation sense or the more literal 'respond to the caller'?
