حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: مَنْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلاَحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا.

Muhammad ibn al-‘Ala’ related to us: Abu Usamah related to us, from Burayd ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Abi Burdah, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: ‘Whoever takes up arms against us is not one of us.’
