حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ.

Isma‘il related to us: Malik related to me, from Musa ibn Maysarah, from Sa‘id ibn Abi Hind, from Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari, that the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: ‘Whoever plays nard has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.’
