al-Hasan ibn ‘Umar related to us: Yazid ibn Zuray‘ related to us, from Habib, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, who said: ‘One who plays with two dice for stakes is like one who eats pig’s flesh, and one who plays with them without gambling is like one who dips his hand in a pig’s blood.’
