Notes and open questions — unreviewed
The Arabic says the Prophet seated Yusuf on his lap (حِجْرِهِ); the English witness’s ‘in his room’ does not match the source word.
وَأَقْعَدَنِي عَلَى حِجْرِهِ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِي.
The Arabic حِجْرِهِ means his lap here, while the English witness says his room.
Should the translation follow the Arabic’s ‘lap’ rather than the witness’s ‘room’?
