Musaddad related to us; Abu ‘Awana related to us, from al-A‘mash, from Tamim ibn Salama, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hilal, from Jarir ibn ‘Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness.”
