حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الأعداء‏.‏

‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayra, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to seek refuge from an evil decree and from the gloating of enemies.
