حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: يَا عَائِشُ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ، قَالَتْ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، قَالَتْ: وَهُوَ يَرَى مَا لا أَرَى.

Abu al-Yaman related to us, saying: Shu‘ayb related to us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Abu Salama related to me that ‘A’isha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “O ‘A’ish, here is Jibril conveying greetings of peace to you.” She said: “And upon him be peace, and the mercy and blessings of Allah.” She said: “He sees what I do not see.”
