Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came toward us swiftly while we were sitting, until his speed toward us alarmed us. When he reached us, he greeted us and said: “I came quickly to you to tell you about the Night of Decree, but I forgot it between my setting out and reaching you. So seek it in the last ten nights.”
