حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الأَشْهَلِيِّ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْكُنَّ لِجَارَتِهَا، وَلَوْ كُرَاعُ شَاةٍ مُحَرَّقٍ.

Isma'il ibn Abi Uways related to us: Malik told me, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Amr ibn Mu'adh al-Ashhali, from his grandmother, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to me: ‘Women of the believers, do not regard as insignificant anything one of you gives her neighbour, even a burnt sheep's shank.’
