Abu al-Harith al-Kirmani said: I heard a man say to Abu Raja’: “I greet you, and I ask Allah to bring us together in the abiding place of His mercy.” He asked: “Can anyone do that?” The man asked: “What is the abiding place of His mercy?” Abu Raja’ replied: “The Garden.” He said: “You have not got it right.” The man asked: “Then what is the abiding place of His mercy?” He replied: “The Lord of the worlds.”
