حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ‏.‏

Translation

Ibn Salam related to us: Abu Mu‘awiya related to us, from al-A‘mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Seek refuge with Allah from Hell. Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave. Seek refuge with Allah from the trial of the False Messiah. Seek refuge with Allah from the trials of life and death.”
