Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ قَيْسِ ابْنَةِ مِحْصَنٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهَا: مَا قَالَتْ: طَالَ عُمْرُهَا؟، وَلاَ نَعْلَمُ امْرَأَةً عُمِّرَتْ مَا عُمِّرَتْ.
Translation
Qutayba related to us: al-Layth related to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Hasan, the client of Umm Qays bint Mihsan, from Umm Qays, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her, “What did she say? May her life be long?” We do not know of any woman who was granted as long a life as she was.
