Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: سَاعَتَانِ تُفْتَحُ لَهُمَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، وَقَلَّ دَاعٍ تُرَدُّ عَلَيْهِ دَعْوَتُهُ: حِينَ يَحْضُرُ النِّدَاءُ، وَالصَّفُّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ.
Translation
Isma‘il related to us: Malik related to me, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl ibn Sa‘d, who said: “There are two times when the gates of heaven are opened, and few are the supplications of a person that are rejected: when the call to prayer is given, and while the ranks are formed in the path of Allah.”
