حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ يَعِيشَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنِّي لَأَدْعُو فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِي حَتَّى أَنْ يُفْسِحَ اللَّهُ فِي مَشْيِ دَابَّتِي، حَتَّى أَرَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَا يَسُرُّنِي‏.‏

It is related that 'Abdullah used to use these supplications alot

'Our Lord, make peace between us and guide us on the path of Islam.Save us from the darkness (and bring us) to the light. Remove acts of deviancefrom us, both open and hidden. Bless us in our ears, our eyes, our hearts,our wives and our children. Turn to us. You are the Ever-Turning back (to his slaves), MostMerciful. Make us thankful for Your blessing and make us among those whogive praise for it and proclaim it. Perfect it for us."
